I'm sick. My head really hurts. Hopefully this post doesn't sound to messed up. I wish I had access to all those drugs like Dr. House. That last episode was awesome. I was kinda dissapointed that it wasn't coke he was doing, for some crazy reason. Anyway, I've been catching up on spoilers. The ones for Alias make me crazy. If they do kill [a certain person], I'll kill them, and everyone they know, AND take all their money and move to a tropical island. If I'm not still sick, of course.
LOST WAS AWSOME!! But frustrating. Where was Ana-Lucia? I want her on the show!! She is so much more interesting than Kate, who seems to be there for the sole purpose of being annoying. And what is with all this Desmond business?

Yes, well... I haven't posted in a long time. I've been here, I've just been feeling really antisocial. I don't know why. The wierd thing is, when I leave my room, I turn into the epitome of charisma and charm. It's so wierd. My first day starting at school, it was just so easy for me to talk to people. And people just talked easily to me. I made friends with a ton of strangers. I don't know how it happened. How did I become such a people person? When I get back to my room, I think back and think, "Wow, how did I come up with all those conversation topics?" Because I used to be the girl brooding in the back of the class, and do people like that undergo some kind of overnight social transformation when they go to college?
Anyway, Seattle is great. Kinda rainy yesterday. But last week it was all sunny and fun, so me and some people walked around downtown. They left me at the library for a while so I could could get a library card and browse around. I know I've said this, but I LOVE the Seattle Public Library. The architecture is just AWESOME. After the library, we walked all over downtown until really late at night/early morning (clubbing is fun-whoohoo!). The next day/later in the morning, my legs were killing me. Seriously, they were dead. I couldn't use stairs. You'd think that I'd be more in shape, since my job over the summer was at the public pool teaching little kids to swim. But no. Eh, well.
Alright, I think this is the longest LJ post in all history. More next time.

My best guy friend is an avid reader and Stephen King fan. Before summer, he got me to read The Gunslinger. Now he wants me to read the next in the series, The Drawing of the Three. But I could barely read the first one. Not that I don't like Stephen King. But something in the Dark Tower series just doesn't fit with me. I don't know what. And I don't want to tell my friend that I don't want to read the book - he thinks the Dark Tower series is the best thing that happened to books ever. Argh... *headdesk*

I need stuff to read. I have 12 things on hold at the library, and none of them are there yet!! Geez. I sat down yesterday and wrote down all the books I remember reading since January (not counting rereads and books for school) and had 37. Maybe I'm wierd, but that number seemed pathetically low to me. Hence the 12 books on hold.
I need Sin City on DVD. I don't care which cover. I need it now. *sigh*

Fireworks suck.

Why do I like this song so much? At first, I thought, "What crap is this?" but my friends just kept playing it over and over. Now its awesome. Everyone should go to Hellogoodbye at Purevolume and listen. I don't know. Maybe it's just all the nights where I was awake until five.
Now, about those nights... school ended like two weeks ago. And me and my friends are having an AWESOME!summer. So far, I've stayed at my friend's place in LA, tried to go to Mexico (it didn't work out. My friends are really bad planners), and broken into an indoor pool (we didn't break in, really. Someone bribed someone to let us in). Right now, I'm in Seattle again.

X-Men 3 is coming out next year!! I'm so excited. I wish that Joss Whedon was the director, though. But it's good that that girl from Lost isn't playing Shadowcat anymore. Who did that casting? She is nothing like Kitty. I wonder if Colossus is going to be in it?

I've decided to set a style for the icons I make, since I've been making so many. I don't know why. Just a personal challenge sort of thing. I'll make at least 10 icons for each challenge, and when I'm done, I'll move on to a different one. I'm curious to see what styles and fandoms people most respond to.
This week was: Adam Brody. Hehe. I'm thinking of making next challenge "Blank space" or something. Yes, I know that doesn't make sense right now. You'll see.
